Louis B. Byrd Jr. has been defending clients accused of violent and property crimes for 17 years. He has the knowledge, experience and determination needed to defend you.

He is a graduate of the Gerry Spence College, where he spent 30 days studying trial theory and preparation under the personal guidance of renowned criminal and civil trial lawyer Gerry Spence. Mr Byrd at one point amassed a 15-0 jury trial record. Prior to beginning his private practice, Mr. Byrd worked as a Washington assistant attorney general and was a program administrator for the offender treatment program at the Washington State Penitentiary. In addition to his law degree, he also has a master’s degree in criminal justice.
